1981 Client: SAFECO Properties
Scope: In response to a City of Seattle request, a development proposal
was conceived and prepared for a 60,000 SF site at the 100% corner of Seattle's
retail core. The $100,000,000 mixed use proposal included a transit station,
a major public open space and 150,000 SF of specialty retail connected to three
major department stores by a below grade pedestrian network. Deliverables:
Agreements with Public Transit Agency, Joint Venture Agreements, Proposal Development
, Financial and Legislative Feasibility.
