Microsoft Magneto

UX Architect

Project

Following the work of IT Pro UX Team* there was a recognition across Server and Tools leadership that a common UX Model was required that would replace the legacy Microsoft Management Console (MMC).   A “V-Team” was formed consisting of Product, Development and UX representatives from Windows Server, Axure, System Center, SQL, InTune and Development Division.  The objective of the central team was to incorporate requirements from all products and develop a common model.   A central challenge for the project was that Azure had committed to a UX Model called the Blade Model that the balance of the teams felt did not represent the requirements of enterprise applications.
